In turnarounds and inspections, the number of simultaneous activities rises sharply within a short period. Onboarding, work permits, LMRA, energy isolation and shift handovers therefore have to be prepared early and connected with one another.

Preparation before the shutdown
Before the shutdown, activities, trades, work areas, shifts and particular risks are recorded. RAMS and PTW requirements, energy isolation, onboarding and emergency organisation are aligned with one another. Bottlenecks and missing records should become visible before the execution phase.
Execution during the inspection
During the inspection, the focus is on fast, clear communication and consistent feedback. LMRA and shift handovers take account of changes in the work area. Inspections and observation management provide information on recurring topics; actions and escalations are bundled in the agreed reports.

HSEE support promises neither a fault-free shutdown nor adherence to a completion date. It does, however, create a traceable structure for risks, permits and decisions.

When should HSEE planning for a turnaround begin?
Early enough for activities, contractors, qualification requirements, permit processes, rescue concepts and resources still to feed into planning and procurement.
Can ADLER use an existing PTW system?
Yes. Existing operator or client processes are preferentially incorporated. Adjustments are made only where interfaces, project scope or particular risks require them.
